Yes yes yes, i know i am a slacker. Baby is now  almost 4 months old and being a mama has challenged my ability to keep my blog updated. Here is a quick peak of some of my latest shoots…some of the best clients ever! In an effort to balance the many demands of life, including working as an occupational therapist, caring for a new baby girl, being a wife, and a photographer – starting in 2012 dolce will be making a few business changes – both to better the clients, quality of photography, and to keep up with the high demand of photo shoots (thank you so much!) that occurred in 2011.

Please see below for some package, pricing and scheduling changes – beginning January 1, 2012.

Scheduling:

In 2012, photo shoots will not begin until March 16, 2012 – and this month is already booked d/t the unforseen need to cancel some Fall 2011 shoots d/t my own pregnancy related health issues. There are also limited April slots remaining, also due to the need to reschedule those from Fall 2011.  I will announce any availability for these two months on my Facebook page come early March.

In an effort to decrease the number of cancellations, shoots will be scheduled at a max of 2  months in advance. I found when shoots were scheduled multiple months in advance, many of them were cancelled by clients due to other plans coming to surface.  Also, with my new baby, I will need to consider childcare options and may not be able to book too far ahead.

Please see the new pricing guidelines below for mini, hour long and package shoots:

mini session (30 minutes)

(location within 10 miles of photographer)

$75 – includes CD of hand picked and edited photos for you to print as desired, with letter of copyright release.

$100 – if over 10miles from photographer

dolce session

(location within 20 miles of photographer)

$150 – includes CD of hand picked and edited photos for you to print as desired, with letter of copyright release.

(mini and 1 hr shoots  include up to 5 people – over 5 people is an extra $25)

Sweet Session

$100 - includes 30  min shoot, CD of 10-15 edited photos and copyright release, 1 8×10 professionally printed photo of client’s choice.

A variety of  Sweet Session days will be offered per year .

–  A Sweet Session day will be a time in which 4 different clients can reserve a 30min slot, at the same location (TBA), within the alloted times provided, on the same day. The shoot will be ‘styled if desired’, meaning some props and possible theme will be provided. Locations will vary depending on season.  Dolce will announce the Sweet Session dates and locations on the facebook business page, with scheduling occurring on a first come basis.
